VOLLEVIK

Alex Vollevik Larsen, who goes by the artist name VOLLEVIK, grew up just outside Bergen, Norway. A place surrounded by mountains and fjords, but also one of the rainiest cities in the world. No wonder Vollevik stayed in and devoted his time to musical exploration (writing songs / making music/tracks).

Now residing in Oslo, and after spending years creating documentaries and writing lots of music, Vollevik is ready to share his music with his debut release "Shelter".

Vollevik has always written music. Often on the computer. But the moment he ditched the screen and discovered his own way of improvising on synths, pedals and tape loops, his mind was blown. It felt like coming home. He started recording every minute of it.

"Shelter" is a beautiful ambient and experimental record captured in the moment. The tracks build patiently and take you on a journey. The album is an experience. A piece of art.
